Shawn Beaulieu, originally from Sainte-Anne-de-Madawaska, graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Université de Moncton. The young lawyer established his law firm in Edmundston in 2017. Along with his law practice, he teaches students enrolled in the correctional and paralegal techniques programs at NBCC.
From 2012 to 2016, he was a member of the Academic Senate and of the Programs Committee of the Université de Moncton. From 2011 to 2013, he was vice-president of the General Association of Students of the Université de Moncton, Campus d’Edmundston.
His decision to get into politics is based on his commitment to represent the interests and concerns of young people, seniors, workers and businesses in the riding of Madawaska-Restigouche.
Shawn is a hard worker, down to earth and understand the unique challenges of our region. He is getting involved in politics to defend the interests of Madawaska-Restigouche in Ottawa. He believes our region has suffered from Liberal inaction long enough and it is time for that to change!
